Who can book, and how a quote works

Every booking starts with an enquiry. Prices are simple and shown up front:
- ✦Bride Only Package: £300. Your trial and your wedding morning makeup, for brides getting ready on their own.
- ✦With a bridal party: trial £100, bride on the wedding day £150, bridesmaids, mothers and guests £90 each, children up to 13 £30 each.
- ✦Travel: based on where you are getting ready, and always shown in your quote. Your quote shows the full price, with no extra charges later.
- AAny bride, anywhere. You do not need to be based in the North East — any bride in the United Kingdom, or planning a destination wedding internationally, is welcome to get in touch.
- BTrials are usually held at the studio. Gessica's studio is based in Darlington, County Durham. Most brides travel to her for the trial, or she can come to you with travel added on top. For the wedding day itself, she travels to you as standard.
- CBrides planning a wedding. These terms apply to brides or civil partners preparing for their wedding day. Enquiries for other events, such as editorial or celebrity bookings, are also welcome.
📍 Trials are usually held at the studio. Gessica's studio is based in Darlington, County Durham, and most brides travel to her for the trial. She can also come to you, with travel added on top. Open to any UK bride — from London, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Liverpool or anywhere else. Contact the team with any questions before booking.
What a trial involves

Your trial is a full, unhurried bridal makeup session — not a consultation, not a quick look. You arrive, we talk through your dress, your venue, and the exact feeling you want. Then Gessica does your complete wedding-day makeup.
- ✓Full bridal makeup application using professional, long-wear products
- ✓In-depth consultation before we begin — skin, insecurities, inspiration images, dress details
- ✓Product and shade records so your wedding-day look is recreated exactly
- ✓Before and after photos for your own personal reference
- ✓Honest feedback on what worked and any tweaks for your big day
The trial session typically runs 1.5 to 2 hours. Please arrive with a clean, moisturised face and your hair done as you would on the wedding day (or in a style that lets Gessica see your face clearly).

This matters because Gessica's work depends on your confidence in it. If something isn't right, tell her — that's what the trial is for.
Paying, and changes to your booking

- →To book: with a trial, you pay for the trial (plus any trial travel). Without a trial, you pay 50%. Your date is held once the first payment is in.
- →The rest: due 30 days before the wedding. Booking 15 to 30 days before the wedding: the rest is due within 14 days. Booking under 14 days before: you pay everything when you book. Nothing is left to pay on the wedding day.
- →Changing your mind: you can cancel within 14 days of booking and get all your money back. If you ask for your trial to happen within those 14 days, the trial is charged. To cancel, email hello@gessicafreire.com.
- →Rescheduling your trial: once at no charge, with at least 48 hours' notice. A second reschedule may need a new payment to secure the slot.
- →Cancelling your trial: with 48+ hours' notice, the trial fee is refunded in full within 5 business days. With under 48 hours' notice, or if you don't attend, the trial fee is not refunded. Once your trial has taken place, the trial fee is kept.
- →Cancelling the wedding day: money paid for the wedding day is refunded depending on notice: 6 months or more, 100%; 3 to 6 months, 75%; 1 to 3 months, 50%; under 1 month, 25%. If another bride books your date, you get the rest back too.
- →Early starts: start times before 7am need Gessica's OK first.
- →Allergies: please tell us about any allergies or sensitive skin before your trial.
Life happens. If you have an emergency, please contact Gessica directly at hello@gessicafreire.com and she will do her best to accommodate you.
Photos, footage and social media
Fotos, vídeos e redes sociais
We only share photos or videos of you with your written OK. We will ask before your appointment, and it is completely your choice.
📸 Changed your mind? Tell us in writing and we will not post anything new. We will also take down posts we control wherever we can.
This applies to all trials, wedding day bookings, and add-ons. It does not affect your right to use your own photos in any way you wish.
